Eclipse in Virgo

We don't need to manage the mystery: on endings before the beginnings + the highest form of Priestess energy.

Welcome to the second Eclipse of the Season!

We’re moving through a particularly powerful few days astrologically. First, we have the Solar Eclipse in Virgo early Monday morning at 5.47am AEST or Sunday evening EDT.

The following day is the Equinox, where the day and the night are of equal length (which traditionally, signals the change of season: shift into spring in the Southern Hemisphere and into autumn in the Northern Hemisphere). The Equinox begins our journey into the third quadrant of the Zodiac wheel and the beginning of Libra Season: the Lover Girl archetype.

And so there is a lot of change! The energy is much about the closing of chapters and the beginnings of something new.

Even more interesting is the degree of this Solar Eclipse. You may remember we have two Virgo New Moons this year (this is the second). The first ushered us into Virgo Season and took place at 0 degrees: initiation and invitation.

There we explored the idea of creating a life that suits us by examining if our routines and rituals were in service to this season of our lives. You can re-read it here if you need a refresh.

Throughout Virgo Season we have cleansed, purified, sanctified, refined: all in order to arrive back at the true essence of ourselves with the devotional energy of the Priestess:
